The clinic is helpless without a way to restock medicines and medical supplies. It is severely limited if the clinic cannot transport patients into town for lab tests and treatments that are not locally available. The clinic becomes irrelevant without a logistical backbone to manage going into town to pick up pay for staff and attend important meetings with the Ministry of Health and other health focused partners. Through the great efforts, generosity and collaboration between the Rotary Club of Spring Lake, Michigan and the Rotary Club of Monrovia, Liberia the clinic was gifted a new Toyota Land Cruiser which will allow the clinic to continue to serve the community. The Po River Clinic family is truly thankful for all the Rotarians who have gone above and beyond to make this possible!
