Since opening in 2013 we had been the only clinic in our district- but that changed in 2022. After a long battle with funding problems, the government was able to finish construction and open the Klagbah Clinic. The clinic sits along the coast about an hour south of our location. It is strategically located and helps to serve the communities in the southern region of the district. One of the greatest challenges they faced was that there was no electricity in the clinic. That means that all emergencies or deliveries which occurred after the sun went down had to be performed using flashlights. We were able to step in to purchase a professionally installed solar power system so that services could be provided safely to the community. Thank you for helping us not only provide care through our clinic, but also to assist the Klagbah Clinic in strengthening care as a good neighbor.
