Growing up in Rivercess, Isaac told his parents he wanted to become a professional singer. He practiced constantly and was always eager to learn new songs. He was sent by his family to Monrovia to start school but a few years later his family was unable to keep up with payments so he was forced to return to Rivercess. There he joined a singing group called “New Creation” and toured the county. The singing group disbanded during the war but reunited shortly after the fighting came to an end. Isaac went on to become the youth pastor of a Pillar of Fire church plant not far from the mission before being asked to move to the mission station church to serve as assistant pastor. Isaac was living on the mission and was recommended for the position of security prior to the opening of the Po River Clinic. He has served well and displayed a passion to keep the clinic safe.
