Grace grew up attending the Pillar of Fire Mission school where she met her husband, and current principal, Rev. James Johnson Sr. The war began during her senior year of high school and she was unable to complete the 12th grade. She was forced to flee with her family on foot to Buchanan and relative safety. After the war she returned to Rivercess. Her two youngest daughters are currently attending the Pillar of Fire Mission school and are among the top students in the school. Grace is looking forward to the day when her daughters graduate and have the opportunity to obtain a university degree. She is very passionate about her work as the clinic registrar. Grace is proud of her role in welcoming people to the clinic and helping them through the process.
