Diana grew up on the Pillar of Fire Mission in Rivercess. Her father was a teacher and a pastor on the site and so they were assigned one of the residences on the mission property. After excelling in her studies and completing her nurse midwifery schooling in Monrovia she came back to Rivercess to work at a local government clinic for a number of years. Wanting to further her skills and knowledge she traveled back to Monrovia to further her education. It was then that she heard about the Po River Clinic’s need for a well qualified nurse midwife. Diana’s desire to help the community inspired her to put her education on hold to come on board at the PRC. She has been instrumental in the clinic achieving its goal to provide quality healthcare services. It is her dream to continue her education and the PRC is working to make that a reality. She is currently in Monrovia working to complete her degree. Diana says that she is proud, “the clinic not only provides for the health of the villages in the area, but also builds up the community through employment.”
